Rules for Elections of 1st and 2nd Vice President
According to the KACo bylaws, the number of voting delegates that each county is eligible to receive is based on county population as determined by the most recent decennial census. In order for its delegates to vote, the county must have paid its FY2025-26 KACo dues. All voting delegates must be representative members of KACo and registered at the annual KACo conference prior to the election. The Credentials Committee shall determine the eligibility of all candidates and voting delegates.
The KACo President or their designee will preside over the election. Officers will be elected by roll call vote of member counties. This year, the roll will be called in alphabetical order. In even numbered years, the roll is called in reverse alphabetical order. The election for 1st vice president will be held first, followed by the election for 2nd vice president.

The election will take place in the Carroll Ford Room on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 4:30 p.m.
